[cfaussie] Re: Setting up CF for a designer

2008-01-09 Thread probertson

I haven't set up for a non-CFer/designer, but CF Dev is so easy to run
up, I'd just stick it on a workstation, set up a local web server (or
the CF Dev web server), and use that. Is she using DreamWeaver for
her HTML work? If so, you've got all the hooks you need in the ide so
should be ok. (not that I'd use DW for CF, but I do use it for HTML/
CSS and even a bit of Spry).

Cheers

All pages on your site are quite snappy for me. (I'm using Bigpond
Cable). Peter R

What is slow for you? Looks quite fast to me. From pointing the
browser to full load took less than 3 seconds, very first time
visited. Tested in both IE 6 and Firefox.

To all those involved in making this happen, my thanks. I really
enjoyed the event, the networking and the drinks after. The range of
topics was great, from down-and-dirty to high level / conceptual, and
excellent line up.
