[cfaussie] Re: CF Training

2013-02-20 Thread Mark Picker
Try what Geoff has suggested but also could try getting the numbers
together yourself. We have had the same issue a number of times in the
past (based in Dubbo) and on one occassion we organised a training course
in Canberra and shared the instructor and room costs with another
organisation.

just realised it might have even been Daemon running the training. Our
trainer was Michael Sharman.

We have also attended CF training with Dynamic in Sydney and it was fine.
Do remember thinking the Daemon one was better though. This may have been
due to the smaller number of students which resulted in a more focused
course.

Cheers
Mark

2013-02-19 Thread Geoff Bowers
If you only have the one guy, you might consider remote training via Google
Hangout or equivalent. There are a number of instructors that might work
with you on a series of half day workshops. I'd touch base with Kai Koenig
-- if he can't help you directly, he can probably recommend several
potential trainers.

Hope that helps,

2007-07-18 Thread alberto

Hello everybody,
I have many friends all over the world and I need to correspond
constantly with some of them using sms and email. It`s better in some
of the cases to communicate in their native languages. I have heard
that the real-time translation service is suitable for the purpose,
but I`ve never useded it. I have the intention to subscribe to such a
service. Before taking any action in this direction, I would like to
have more information about everything related to that to make the
right decision. I`m expecting all kinds of comments on the topic.
Regrads.

[cfaussie] Re: CF Training in Australia

2007-07-18 Thread Robin Hilliard

Hi Mike,

There's a difference between being an Authorised Training Centre
(i.e. Dynamic Web Training) and being an Authorised Training Partner
(Webqem, RocketBoots, Daemon, Straker - correct me if any of these
have become ATCs since I last looked). ATPs can do onsite training,
ATCs can schedule and advertise public courses at their premises.
BTW DWT's ColdFusion instructors are provided by RocketBoots (Justin
Mclean, Greg Stewart and me).

Robin

PS: Good on you for getting the Western Sydney Group going.

Thanks Andrew. I knew you were doing training and i felt sure your
company wasn't Dynamic Web Training.

You need to poke Adobe in the ribs to get them to put your name on the
web site as an authorised training centre.
