Hi Dale, Sorry about that - that was back in September. What in fact was happening was that it was taking absolutely for ever (i.e. months and months and months) to get Adobe to recognise the fact that I was already a Macromedia Certified Flex Instructor, without which we couldn't get access to the training materials or advertise a course - which made everything far more complicated than it needed to be. Still I should have followed up, no excuses. The basic deal for onsite training is $1,800/day + GST and expenses with up to 10 people, which in some cases compares well with a public course, which (not confirmed) will probably come out at around $4,000 per person. The course and course cost don't include any kind of consulting gig or offer, I imagine those kinds of things will be managed case by case as work comes up and Robin finds people he can use. Just in case anyone who's interested has missed it - Rocketboots are running another course at that price for consultants (it's specifically to build up a base of people they can work with) so if you're consulting and going to be doing flex etc then give them a yell. I'm not sure how many positions are left though, the course is end of Feb. Ahh ok, Well Rocketboots did have a bargain basement course before Christmas for $550 per student, I doubt that we will see those prices again but I think if we could get together a Melbourne group then a deal could be struck.
