*Position:  Operations Manager*

*Location:  Manhattan, NY-10007*

*Duration:  12+ months*

This critical position is responsible for the operational, technical and
staff management of the Infrastructure Operations support team.  This
position will be responsible for understanding and applying new Data Center
technologies, and for execution of key parts of the operational strategic
plan.

Responsible for managing all Operations project deliverables, Business as
Usual operations and reactive support.  Deliverables including, As Is
Documentation updates, Operations Management Plan, Patching Plan, Capacity
Management Plan, Business Continuity Plan, Weekly Status reports and Sensor
Process Documentation.  Coordinate evaluation, deployment, and management
of current and future technologies.  Manage the lifecycle for all server
and storage infrastructure.  Continually assess and evaluate the state of
the Data Center, and develop initiatives to reduce cost and create
efficiencies.  Develop, implement, and monitor Data Center systems to
ensure best practices are implemented.

Will work directly with Application, Network and Security teams to resolve
issues via Infrastructure resources direct or indirect support.  Requires
ability to be "on call" 24x7 in case of Severity issues that may arise.
Will need to manage resource time and priorities while communicating with
Management on constraints and needs of the client.   Ability to take
initiative, work independently and ramp up on new technologies quickly is a
must.

*Recommended Skills:* Deep understanding of Infrastructure components
(server, storage & network), application topologies and integration,
Windows AD, McAfee EPO, Security Protocols, and strong IT back ground in
Windows Platform.   Experience setting up and running Enterprise Operations
policies and procedures as well as Operational Dashboards.  Strong
Knowledge of monitoring tools, reporting mechanisms and Microsoft System
Center suite.  Experience in Azure Cloud is recommended.

   - Supervise and direct personnel to perform:
   - O/S and Applications Patching
   - Firmware Updates
   - Capacity Planning
   - Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery
   - *Supervise and direct the activities of level 2/3 engineers
   responsible for production system and infrastructure support.*
   - Direct personnel to troubleshoot hardware failures.
   - Support production systems and applications.
   - Provisioning of Microsoft Azure cloud services.
   - Setup of App, web and DB servers on virtual or physical hardware.
   - Coordinate with Security Operations to address security related issues.
   - Coordinate with Network Operations to address network related issues.
