Management, AR, AP, GL, Costing, WIP and Purchasing related modules to meet
business requirements

• Perform Production Support activities for organization's internal

• Implementing and rolling out the developed solutions in Oracle ERP based
environment.

• Provides integrated systems planning and recommend new functionalities,
technologies and processes targeting improved bottom line for the
organization.

• Researches and evaluates new and/or alternative solutions and
technologies to enhance operational effectiveness and reduce costs.

• Provides in-depth technical and functional solution to Business Unit and
IT management and ensure development of efficient application systems
utilizing established standards, procedures, and methodologies.

• BA probably hard to fill on a contingency basis (so Sam thinks)
• If we find someone with domain knowledge, that’s wonderful, if not, they
need to be process driven around SCRUM. SCRUM product owner training is
ideal.
• Must have excellent writing and communication skills
• Primary responsibility is to look at customer requirements, work through
them with customer and to understand the real need the custoner is trying
to get at. They will work with another BA or two to assist with whatever
else they need and getting requirements into user stories to use to build
scrum backlog. Not looking for them to estimate scope (engineers do that).
• Provide in-depth requirements.
• When they build out sprints – BDD experience is great.
• They team up BA, QA and SW engineer to talk through scope of work for
next sprint. They refer to them as the Three Amigos. They make sure
technical folks understand what is expected to be built and delivered.
• They have 2 week sprints and deliver on 4 week cycle. The first 2-week
print happends and they use the second 2-week sprint to test and prove work.
• Tools they use are: Target Process (a web version of backlog xx tool).
They are transitioning to Rally, which is a tool for backlog and task
management for SW engineering team. Use Team City (??), which is a .NET
automation tool (run automatic tests).
• Candidate has to be well versed in Visual Studio 2012 (they don’t use
2013)
• It will be hard to find domain experience, but if the candidate has
experience with invoicing and automation, from the automobile reparir
industry, for example, that would be good (web based tools)
• It would be good if they have knowledge of what the American Association
of Railroads organization is.

Job Specific Responsibilities
1. Works with Project Managers to monitor cost, schedule, and technical
performance of component projects and operations, while working to ensure
the ultimate success of the program.
2. Insures project methodologies, project delivery processes, and
implementation management processes are followed. This includes managing
and driving:
• Project/Program Schedule
• Risk and Issue Management
• Scope Change Management
3. Provides clear and concise project communication; both written and
verbal.
4. Facilitates/manages project communications and stakeholder, client and
project team expectations.

Candidate Requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
• Proficient in Microsoft Project and or Microsoft Project Server
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
• Proven success in delivering projects within budget and specified
timeframes, while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Proven problem solving skills from problem assessment to solution
selection
• Ability to identify alternatives and make contingency plans
• Capacity to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, changes
in direction, and altering priorities
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments


Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, plus 10+ years progressive management

Salesforce.com Service Cloud experience preferred

Department Description: Project Manager for Department of Defense contracts

*Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations*:

• Experience managing and implementing Department of Defense (DoD)
contracts like the Air Force, Army, Navy or Marines would be excellent.

• Experience in implementing Motorola ASTRO25 trunking systems, wireless
systems, or telecom systems would be beneficial.

• Experience with DoD Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRL) would be
beneficial

• Responsible for planning, organizing and directing the installation
efforts of company and/or subcontractor personnel.

• Responsible for the successful completion of assigned projects on
schedule, within budget, and according to contract requirements and
prescribed quality standards.

• Develop clear understanding of all contract requirements and negotiate
all installation subcontracts.

• Controls inventory of equipment and parts.

• Coordinates all system training, optimization, testing, and acceptance.

• Prepare budgets, reports, and scheduling for each project assigned.

*Specific Knowledge/Skills: *

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience

• 3-5 years experience in project management.

• Prior technical background of 5 to 7 years experience as an Engineer,
senior technician, Project Leader, or similar experience is desirable.

• Demonstrated ability to successfully apply advanced project management
skill in such areas as customer relations, team building, matrix
management, project planning, conflict resolution, and budget.

• Capable of developing detailed project status reports and conducting
formal customer briefings.

• Quote activity, ensuring service quotations are correct, and writing and
administering subcontracts.

• Experience in developing Statement of Work (SOW) for vendors, and able to
manage vendors

• Has knowledge of proper installation procedures and can determine proper
quality installation workmanship.

• Able to manage complex teams with team members and customers remotely
dispersed

• Must have good technical writing skills and computer skills

• Computer skills capable of working with databases, Outlook, MS Office and
Project.

• Knowledge and ability to use project management software is critical.
