Hmm... I was wondering the same thing. I recently shut down my
insertion scripts because of the "Tsunami" report, yet the free
connections on my primary node are filling up _very_ quickly
after a restart.
I don't fully understand the architecture of Freenet. What
defense is there if someone were to try to flood the network
with bogus material to flush out the real stuff? For example,
I could imagine taking an MP3 file of nothing but static,
scripting a random change to the ID3 tag so it would always
generate a different CHK, and re-inserting it over and over.
How does the network prevent this kind of attack?
