[Chevelle-List] My engine!

2003-07-13 Thread Pelle Andersson

What kind of BHP can I whip out of this
setup?
What needs to be done?
I know I've asked you before but I wasn't sure
about the # back then !!

block:
3969854402...70-72...4 bolt, bored 0,30

head:399382071..oval...OPEN...402,
113cc chamber, 255/114 ports
Intake
manifold: Edelbrock performance RPM

Holley 800
cfm DPcarburetor
Hooker
Headers (2,5’’)

2,5’’
Hooker stainless exhaust sys.
Still
not sure about the cam, but I'm told it's a hi performance cam due
to
the sound it makes running on idle (does that make sense?)

I
don't have a clue so I'm wondering, how many bhp (approx) do I have

how
much can I get without a complete engine rebuild?

Best
regards Pelle Andersson

[Chevelle-List] Interior

2003-07-13 Thread Sixty7SS396
I am looking to order a full interior kit and am looking for advice as to which supplier to go with. All suppliers that have kits have little differences as to what you get but I am looking for the best qaulity in thing like the door panels and seat covers. Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks.

RE: [Chevelle-List] Interior

2003-07-13 Thread John Nasta

Hi Bob,

There are
2 major suppliers, namely PUI and ICP. We carry the ICP stuff because it is a
more accurate reproduction. Some people who are less interested in originality
like the PUI stuff because it's more puffy (PUI will happily admit to the
puffiness thing). PUI does have a gold line that is less puffy and
more accurate compared to original, but it is heinously expensive compared to
ICP.

If you are
interested in the ICP stuff, send me an email off-list. I'll get some color swatches
out to you and give you a good price.

Thanks,

John Nasta
