hey Ron, mic suggestion will get you going in the right direction, the problem is the current has drawn in the corrosion, and the rust is not your friend, but, alittle diluted acid with an eye dropper, and a water hose to control the cleaning, and you can clean up an old harness, my next project, IM going to try a different method, IM been thinking about how they clean up old ship wreck corrosion, maybe soaking the harness is DI water, might pull that crap out of the wire, and restoring the electrical current good luck, anything to save a buck, that my motto

I have a picture of a 66 Dana Chevelle with the cowl Plenum air filter and also saw one on a 66 Motion Chevelle. It was available as a service part counter item.
