hey Ron, mic suggestion will get you going in the right direction, the problem is the current has drawn in the corrosion, and the rust is not your friend, but, alittle diluted acid with an eye dropper, and a water hose to control the cleaning, and you can clean up an old harness, my next project, IM going to try a different method, IM been thinking about how they clean up old ship wreck corrosion, maybe soaking the harness is DI water, might pull that crap out of the wire, and restoring the electrical current good luck, anything to save a buck, that my motto

I have a picture of a 66 Dana Chevelle with the cowl Plenum air filter and
also saw one on a 66 Motion Chevelle. It was available as a service part
counter item. There were a bunch of different units made to fit Chevelle
Camaro and Impala

Subject: [Chevelle-list] Smokeys Plenum Intake

What year chevelle had the plenum intake? Was it a real factory
option, dealer install? And where can I find a picture of the stock
set up. Also at one time someone was reproducing them, anyone have a
 link? ( Dale??)

I sent my brother a web link to a red 66 SS similar to his first in
town 66SS. We got to discussing his car. After seeing Smokeys
version he cobbled together something similar. Now I can't convince
him that GM offered it as an option at sometime. Can someone show me
 proof for him. Thanx
