RE: [Chevelle-list] 1970 CHEVELLE
SS Chevelles were built at all plants building the 70 models; Atlanta, Van Nuys, Arlington, Baltimore, Flint, Kansas City, and Oshawa. Without some sort of paperwork or protect-o-plate, there’s no real way to tell if it’s a SS or just has some SS options added by a previous owner. RE: [Chevelle-list] Fw: PLEASE READ1!!!! It was on the News!
This has been around on the internet several times, and believe me it is a complete farce. First they do not have any way of doing the tracking that is stating, and second neither company are that free with their money. I was foolish enough to try it the first time, and didn't hear one word or get a cent back. The most that could come of it is that you are sending out your email address to maybe someone you don't want to get it. Don't waste your time. Re: [Chevelle-list] Refurbishing Steering Wheels
There is a guy on Ebay (Davesjunkyard) who sells the repo steering wheels. He buys damaged and overstocked repo parts from one of the suppliers. Most of the wheels he puts on Ebay are cracked. I too have seen them and don't think I would buy one. I have heard from others the quality wasn't that great. Larry (Z)
