Chuck, my ’70 which
has a mostly original interior has matching color for the armrest base and the
armrest itself.  Both are blue.  The door panels and dash pad are
also blue.  My seats have been recovered, so I can’t help you there.

Sorry Mike, for some reason I couldn't get a new question sent so
I tagged onto one of yours.

Does anyone know the correct color combinations for the arm rest
base and pad on a 70 Chevelle Malibu? Are they both the same color? If so are they the color of the
door panel and seats, or the color of the dash? Third possibility is the base
the color of the dash with the pad the color of the door panel and seats? There
are three colors that match different locations in my interior Light Saddle,
Saddle, and Dark Saddle. The dash is Saddle, and the seats Light Saddle would
the Dark Saddle even come into play here?

Thanks

Of all the photos I have of 70 interiors the arm rests are a solid color and
match the seats and door panels. These include interior codes 762-Medium
Blue, 770/771-Medium Saddle, 776-Medium Gold, 787/788-Medium Red,
795/796-Medium Dark Green, and naturally all the blacks. See

Thanks Jim for the info on the console, but I was looking for the color
combinations of the arm rest pad and base. I think the base is the same
color as the console, but want to make sure. If so would the pad be the

Chuck,

I just sold a console for a '68 and the pad was the
same color as the base (black). I believe the
consoles all to be the same from '68-'72 if memory
serves. Also, an old girlfriend had an all original
forest green '69 Chevelle, and the console in that was
all green (no split colors).

Hope this helps.

Here is an exxcellent parts car..!!

1965 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE MALIBU.
This car is on a rolling chassis, is missing the hood, and has no engine. The
doors open and shut, and all the glass is in the car. It has a clutch pedal, so
was once a 4 speed car. It is a 2 door hardtop, and has damage and rust in the
rear quarters, and some damage in the front floors. The doors are both in good
condition except for some minor dents. Transportation is available, and the car
has a
good title.
