I'm not in Southern California, but I have a pair of stock exhaust 
manifolds from a '66 327 Elky I could part with cheap.

Can anyone tell me if a 1968 cutlass rear end (12 bolt) will fit in a 1967 chevelle.I realize it is 2 inches wider. Is it worth it? The price is right!Thx Mike

Ram horns won't fit on a Chevelle. Log type were the same for 283 and 
327. There were no hi performance Log Type in 65 (even the L-79 (350 
hp) used the same ). I'll send the specs tonight .

It's not Flat or Shinny/gloss.. it's a Sem/gloss gloss  I have been 
successful in duplicating the "Black" paint on 64/65 consoles with, SEMS 
black trim pint.  it's a  rattle can paint I can get locally at the  auto 
body supply shops.
As for pits  in the recess. I filled them with  poly filler and finished 
with primer sand and the black over coat..

I have a 65 chevelle SS that i need the console re chromed. after chroming
what shade of black should the center be painted? flat black or shiny?  
also

,someone mentioned a ppg primer that fills small pits in paint. i cant
remember what it was. i could use some help here also.
