I have a driveshaft laying around with a yoke still on it. Not sure what
year it came off of, or what tranny was used with it, but it came with my 66
basket case. It's too short for my car with a big block and 4 speed. Anybody
have an idea

are all yokes interchangeable with Chevelles?

Dan, what's your engine/tranny combo? If we can determine that my yoke will
work, you can have it for shipping cost.

Thanks for the link Dale. I ordered the
weatherproof kit with 3 constant, 4 ignition circuits.

  Larry,

  I’d seriously look
into a Painless wiring “Cirkit Boss” wiring kit - http://www.painlesswiring.com/assets/pdf_catalog/Catalog_pg16.pdf

  They have numerous
kits available, 3 circuit (1 constant hot, 2 ignition hot), 7 circuit (3
constant, 4 ignition), and 3 and 7 circuit – all ignition hot.  Each
circuit is separately fused with a blade fuse and the entire block is
protected with a 30 or 40 amp fuse.  Clean installation and keeps you
from having to tap into existing wiring.  I had a 7-circuit unit in my
Chevelle and ran all my accessories from it.

I'm wiring my electric fans and
next, my electric water pump. To operate the relays, I need to tap into
switched power. This circuit would draw very little current. Any suggestions
on a good place to tap in the engine compartment, or do I need to go to the
  fuse box?

Thanks for the advice Larry. In my younger adult life, I was an electronics
technician in the Air Force. Everything I've done has been soldered and heat
shrinked. Definitely worth the little extra time and effort. Not only does
it come out looking more professional, it should provide years of trouble
free operation.

Dale, that's a great idea. I'll look into it for sure.

Dale - nice idea. Larry I suggest you solder and shrink tube all

Yes they did make 2 wheel drive Blazers but most were 4 x 4 (K5). I
bought many front housings cheap from a shop that converted 4 x 4's  into
2 wheel drive in the late 70's and early 80's
