Re: [Chevelle-list] test
See, should have been paying attention. :*) Thanks for the reply to the list though, my test worked. Re: [Chevelle-list] Need some advice/help
I couldn't agree more. I think it would be great if magazine publishers would start sending out a CD-Rom every year. Even if it cost me an extra few bucks, I'd pay for it. I like to be able to check into old articles and would love to be able to search my old magazines by topic. I wish they would send you a cd rom with the whole year since you have already paid for the subscription. Maybe a cd rom with all the advertisers, I am always looking for an ad later for myself or somebody else. -Original Message-From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]On Behalf Of Jim SullivanSent: Tuesday, August 29, 2006 3:34 PMTo: The Chevelle Mailing ListSubject: Re: [Chevelle-list] Need some advice/help Hey guys. This is kind of car related. I save all my copies of 3-4 car magazine subscriptions and also copies of 3-4 woodworking magazines. Plus a bunch of catalogs. There is something in every issue that will never go out of date. A special project, Plans, tips and tricks. Articles and pictures that will be nice to have down the road. There's got to be somebody out there with the same problem. Right now I have them stacked on the floor of my computer room in neat 11 stacks. Very neatly, but not according to my wife. Once I put them in boxes I will probably never reference them again. Anybody out there with a good filing system, that works Suggestions welcome. Thanks Jim S.
Re: [Chevelle-list] Need some advice/help
Holy Moly Jim and I thought I was the only one with the dilemma! My house is very clean but I do have many stacks of magazines. There is something about woodworking mags that I know I will want to reference them someday when I build "that". I did finally get binders and cataloged some of them. I'm thinking that an Excel spreadsheet is the quick reference and storage ticket! Ron M. 67 Chevelle - Original Message - From: Jim H. Re: [Chevelle-list] Large auction in WI
I'm not sure exactly where, apparently the person who bought the collection didn't want everthing about it revealed. I would guess as time passes the location and name of the party will surface. - Original Message - From: "crobertson1" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "'The Chevelle Mailing List'" Sent: Wednesday, August 30, 2006 9:28 AM Subject: Re: [Chevelle-list] Large auction in WI > Any idea where at in Maryland? > > Craig > > -Original Message- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Ken Lyman > Sent: Tuesday, August 29, 2006 7:23 PM > To: The Chevelle Mailing List > Subject: Re: [Chevelle-list] Large auction in WI > > The stuff from this auction is unrelated to the Don Schlag collection. > Almost all of his collection of cars and parts went to Maryland last > spring. > - Original Message - > From: "mike f" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: "The Chevelle Mailing List" > Sent: Tuesday, August 29, 2006 10:33 AM > Subject: Re: [Chevelle-list] Large auction in WI > > > > I wonder if that is the stuff from that farm with all > > the trailers full of stuff? > > > > Great stuff. > > mike > > > > > > --- Brad Olson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > > > There are a couple of Chevelles and a lot of Chevy > > > parts: > > > > > > > > > http://vanderbrinkauctions.com/items/details.asp?ID=179&ItemType=AUCTION > &Sho > wAllPhotos=True > > > > > > Brad > > > > > > > > > > > > __ > > Do You Yahoo!? > > Tired of spam? Great! Let me know, and I'll add a link on my rotisserie page to your page.
