[Chevelle-list] sorry, off topic

2007-01-18 Thread Melanie Lopez
I know Ford is a bad word on this site, but we are selling our son's 92 Ford
Bronco Eddie Bauer and I'd like to know if anyone knows a good place to try to
sell it . We live in NW Indiana.
Thanks
By the way, the Chevelle is coming along, slowly but surely. Definitely hoping
to be able to drive her this spring.

You could try the BroncoGraveyard.com classifieds. If not, check out their
links for other places where Bronco enthusiasts will be.

[Chevelle-list] Q-Jet Carb

2007-01-18 Thread Bob n Cheri
I want to put a Q-Jet back on my SS454 so I can use my original air cleaner.
It won't work with the Holley I have now.

I was thinking Jet Streetmaster but don't if I should go with a stage 2 or 3.

Also was looking for one of those Edelbrock 850 Q-Jets but haven't run across
one.

Anyone have an Edelbrock 850 they want to get rid of?

How about recommendations for another good source for a performance Q-Jet?

Thanks,

Bob Belz

You won't find the Edlebrock 850, it's been discontinued for some time now. I
would just go get one froma junkyard car, older one, and have it redone by
someone that knows Q-Jets. As far as I'm concerned, a properly tuned Q-Jet is
far superior to any Holley on a street driven car.

I haven't tried them yet but I have heard good things about, I am not
sure of the name, Jet Performance. They also have three levels of Q-Jet
carbs. I was thinking about getting one of their Q-Jets later.
