I am replacing a leakingthermostat gasket and will replace thermostat
while apart. Currently it has a 195* and works fineholding temp a 195*.
Autopartsstore suggested to put a 180* to run it a little cooler. Good,
Bad or Indifferent?

Secondly: I have read in the past about drillingan 1/8” hole in the
thermostat flange to relieve an air bubble if it forms atthe thermostat.
Anyone do this?Autoparts store said many already come with a hole. The
Stant I bought did not.

   Thank you,

2007-05-15 Thread Michael Pell

chime, chime. :-)

We can get you a TKO-500 sent out this week (maybe early next week) if
haven't already paid for your transmission.
If you have paid for it, email me off the list and I'll make some calls
to see what I can find out for you. I can at least get your DH's TREMEC
rep's name and phone number.

Our website is at http://www.5speedtransmissions.com.
If you call the 800-441-8699, Brad will answer.

Can any body tell me of a good Tremec dealer in the Rocky

out of Washington State. I would not recommend them for
anything. Very dishonest. Thanks for any helpDennis
