[Chevelle-list] convertible A-body

2009-06-10 Thread Jim Chris
Just thowing this out there, I have a 68 convertible cutlass and entertaining
the thought of a fram off at some point. the mid/rear part of the drivers side
frame needs some attention and has surface rust throughout? do I take the
doors off and brace it ? or just gentily raise it and hope for the best.
greatful for any suggestions. Jimmy. C

If it were mine,I would always brace it. There would be no chance for it to
get tweaked or have alignment problems when reinstallation time comes.

I found my 65 Malibu to be completely solid and had the car on a rotisserie
without bracing.
