If you want the OEM paint numbers, Lucite is #4850L, R-M is #A-1920, and Ditzler is #13364. These are OEM lacquer which may be hard to find but I'm sure a competent paint shop could cross them to a modern base/clear if that's what you prefer. http://chevellestuff.com/1967/paint.htm Dale _ From: chevelle-list-boun...@chevelles.net [mailto:chevelle-list-boun...@chevelles.net] On Behalf Of Eddie Bumgarner Sent: Monday, May 17, 2010 10:26 PM To: The Chevelle Mailing List Subject: Re: [Chevelle-list] (no subject) Thanks, Donnie I love this club. I'll wait and talk to the shop monday AM. I checked NAPA, AZone & Oreilly and parts were not available. I'll hope that the machine shop can get them from a local jobber. Thanx all. Almost everyone got "dealer" pricing on parts anyway but if a person wanted to bring their own parts in to be installed it usually meant no warranty. Independent machine shops today generally rely (I would gather) on not only the labor but the markup on the parts as well. Gonna require a Machine shop to do it. In general, will they expect me to provide bearings, or will they want to order their own? Local shops are already closed (can't ask them what they prefer) and if I need to order a set of bearings I'd like to do it tonite or tomorrow so I can recieve them by monday.
