[Chevelle-list] Replacement Exhaust system and Headers 1970 SS396

Hi from New Zealand

 

I need to replace the entire exhaust system on my 1970 SS 396. I would
like to use a performance system to keep the aggressive V8 sound. If you
can recommend which headers and exhaust combination I would greatly
appreciate it. I like the Magnaflow Performance system I have seen on
line but worry that it won't replicate good sound does anyone have any
experience in this area. Do you think I stick with the 2 1/2" or go to
the 3"

If they lost them, I would be all over them to replace them.  You should
not have to incur any expense for their ineptitude.
