[Chevelle-list] discount codes

2010-09-12 Thread A J and Jean
My 1970 is finally at the painters after years of trying on my own and never
finding the time to do myself. There are some gaskets I thought I bought
over the years that I am finding I have not and need a replacement pin set
for the hood as well as am looking for some wheels. Does anyone have any
discount codes for Year One, Ausley's, etc. that they could share?

Thanks in advance
A.J.

Re: [Chevelle-List] Re: horn button wiring

Here are a couple of web sites that show some work on the steering column
that helped me when I rebuilt the one in my 1970 Chevelle
http://www.chevyasylum.com/column/tiltcol.html

http://www.gnttype.org/techarea/suspension/t_steering.html

Not sure if they will show exactly what you are looking for but they did
save me a heck of alot of trouble in repairing mine.

[Chevelle-List] Installation of headers on a 1970 chevelle

2003-03-30 Thread A J and Jean

I purchased a set of ceramic headers to install on
a 1970 Chevelle. My engine is a 350, and I have automatic transmission and power
steering.
I was just looking at the engine compartment and
trying to size up the best way to tackle this and am concerned that there may not be enough room to fit these on from
above without damaging them or the engine comaprtment.

Has anyone done this where they could offer me some
suggestions on how to proceed, or am I doomed to be pulling a lot of things or
at worst the engine?

Thanks in advance for any help.
A.J.

Herb,
I hate to jump on also, but if you could send me
the info also I would appreciate it, as I am planning on re-doing the firewall
on my 70 and would appreciate any advise or procedures I can use
