[Chevelle-List] Heater Delete

2002-06-12 Thread BRIAN LAHR

Kent and Bill,

I've been looking around for a set of heater deletes for my 66
SS also. I contacted Goodmark and they said they are not currently making them
and they don't have any plans to in the future. The only place I had seen repo
pieces was in the OPGI catalog but when I was ready to order them they'd
discontinued them. Maybe that was what you had seen Kent?! I was given the
name of a guy that is supposed to be making these pieces. I haven't seen the
pieces and all I have been given is a phone number to call. I haven't
called yet but I plan to this weekend (after I get back from Carlisle) if it's
legit I'll pass it on to you.

>Somewhere in my "notes", I have the information that you
are looking for.  Off the top of my head, I believe the company that was
reproducing the pieces was Goodmark Industries.  There are 3 pieces, the
heater core "cover", the "top hat" (both located inside the engine compartment),
and I believe there was also the piece to cover the dash opening.  The kit
was labeled for either a '66 or '67.  Although I believe the "cover" and
the "top hat" will also fit the '68 thru '72.
If you are still in need of help, drop me a line.

2002-05-29 Thread BRIAN LAHR

Hello everyone,

I saw the link and the website last week and I thought I'd add mine to see
what you all thought. Like the car the site is still a work in progress. I'm
already planning a few changes based on suggestions I've received.

Re: [Chevelle-List] 66 dash $ ?

I have seen a few of them on ebay and they
weren't going for much really. I think the last one was $15.00 or something like
that.

I started looking at rotisseries from a company
called Accessible Systems, then my uncle said he'd build me one so I stopped
looking but here's the link.

I have an 850cfm street Demon on my 396. It runs
smooth and makes good power (450HP). I like mine!

Re: [Chevelle-List] re:identifying inner tie rods from outers

2001-06-25 Thread BRIAN LAHR

Replies to this message are sent to The Chevelle Mailing List

I had asked this question to the list a few months ago. The outer tie rod
ends that attach to the spindle are the right hand threads. The inner tie
rod ends that go from the steering and idler arms to the center link are the
left hand threads. Gladly I got past the front end rebuild with just a
little stress! Good Luck!!!
