I do think the '65 hood spear is going to be reproduced.  I saw one on ebay 
once a few months back.  It didn't look perfect, I think it may have been a 
pre production piece.  If I remember it also went pretty high.

[Chevelle-list] '65 Throttle Linkage Conversion

What is the best way to convert the throttle linkage on a '65 to a cable 
system?  Will a cable and pedal from a newer Chevelle fit?  Lokar pedal?  I 
will be installing an Accel Super Ram and it will require a throttle cable.

Of course everyone has differnt ideas about which tire looks the best.  I 
had Chrome 16 X 7 Ralley wheels on my '65 and loved them.  It gave it a 
classic look with a modern flare.
