I avoid Outlook like the plague. I assume it still is, but at one time it was
the #1 target for hackers/virus/worms, etc.

I use good OLD Netscape Mail. :-)

Don't know if you know, but gmail can be downloaded to Outlook. And that's very
convenient.

Now back on list after being bounced off. Have a email with the dreaded
@sbcglobal.nethttp://sbcglobal.net. After much discussion with ATT it was
decided I would have to have another email address to be on the list. So I went
back to gmail. It isn't convenient but I did miss reading the mails from those
on the list. Hopefully this will work.

[Chevelle-list] Posi?

2008-07-29 Thread Smith, James L.
I have a 70 Chevelle with a 396 and Turbo 400 the rear is 4:56 which is
way too much. I not racing it or anything just playing around with it.

I want to change it to something a little less aggressive, What gears do
you all recommend for the rear?

Jimmy

Re: [Chevelle-list] 1970 402 block

2008-06-23 Thread Smith, James L.
thanks to all that replied, I was just wondering if there are still any
402 blocks out of 70 Chevelles out there.

There is nothing wrong with the 396 I have except it's build a little
more radical then I want and I'm thinking azbout restoring my 1970 to
more stock.
