on my original top, i used to use black shoe polish!! looked great, but alot of work! I had the top replaced and just use soap and water now to clean it. I don't put anything on it. Hey, my friend did the same thing with his 56 Chevy. Sounds like a small block and runs with the best of them!!Little weird whe you pop the hood and see a 6!! but hey, if everyone ran the same thing, it'd be a boring world!!!
