  You can get the switch new, it's like $16. You also need the 
  bracket that holds it to the gas pedal which you can get also. I never 
  bothered to install one on my 70. I always drop it down manually.

a glass bead blaster works real well on delicate 
parts. glass beads do not pit like sand dose
