national parts depo sells front end kits npdlink.com also i think danchunk sells them too - Original Message - From: Craig & Cerena Robertson To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Sunday, April 28, 2002 8:09 AM Subject: [Chevelle-List] Fender U Clips Looking for new U Clip of my 69 SS. These are the clips that go on the front fender and then a bolt is placed through the wheel well. This bolt then screws into the U Clip and attached it to the fender. They are about 3/4 of and inch square. I don't need the whole front end kit that they sell just the U Clips and Bolts. Anyone know where they can be purchased or a GM part number? Thanks Craig

Re: [Chevelle-List] Cowl Hood
try national parts depot at www.npdlink.com i got a brand new one real steel too - Original Message - From: Tim D Shelton To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, August 21, 2001 11:14 PM Subject: [Chevelle-List] Cowl Hood I am looking for a 70 - 72 Cowl Hood with a flapper style cowl. This hood can be in any shape because I am going to modify it for my car tow vehicle. I know what I can get a new one for, but would prefer a cheaper dented one. I live in the mid-west. Tim D. Shelton- Original Message - From: UT To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, August 22, 2001 12:01 AM Subject: Re: [Chevelle-List] TBI?carb question Chris, Ya, its throttle body injection. I get between 18 and if I am really good, 25. I have a small 305 too I thought I would mention. Some of these guys can clarify it more thn I can I'm sure but here ya go. It's just a system with two fuel injectors on top very similar to a carb, but its controlled by a computer. This allows for the more precision than a carb because the computer decides the air/fuel mixture an dwhat not given the conditions. Then there is tuned port. They came on late 80's camaros and other vehicles that just have a fuel injector for each port. Mult-port gives you more precise a/f mixtures over TBI, but TBI runs a wet intake manifold so it stays cooler which is why you see those newer Impalas with their ice packs on the manifolds at the race tracks. :) -Dustin - Original Message - From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, August 21, 2001 7:34 PM Subject: Re: [Chevelle-List] TBI?carb question i know this might sound really dumb to you guys, but i don't know so i gotta ask... what the heck is TBI? my first assumption is throttle body injection, not sure if this is what it is or if i made it up tho. what does it do and how do you get a better mpg with it? curious because i have just invested in a 72 malibu with a 350/4bbl and drive her daily. thanks! chris 72 malibu new jersey
