Is a 69 Elky supposed to have vent windows in the doors? I thought they did
but you guys have me a little confused now.

Yes, the El Camino has the same doors (and windshield / A-pillar moldings)
as the Chevelle 2dr (post) sedan.

hi evryone,

I've noticed that 69 chevelles dont have the vent window, does somebody 
know what it takes to mount a 69 window in a 68 door, is it doable ?? 

just lost some Audi S8 front brakes (13,6 x 1,18 disks with 4 piston 
brembo calipers)at $ 300 :(:(
I found another set but they want $ 800 for them

Don't know about putting a 69 window in a 68 door but, if you don't like
the vent windows, I would just find some nice 69 doors. They are a
direct bolt on to a 68.

I believe you'll have to change the doorweatherstrip also with the door swap  I'm not sure if the 68 has the "Track" for the 69 weatherstrip.
