Trevor In july 1967 I was in London England and saw a new 1967 chevelle 2 door hardtop with a metal sliding sunroof.It had been built as an export car wth this option.Camaros built in the G.M. Belgium plant did have a sliding metal sunroof option.You could get a power roof in a 70 Cadillac,and Grand Prix ,so did some Chevy exec.get a special order car done for himself? Maybe the car has a build sheet with a weird code on it. I saw a factory moon roof on a 69? Buick. I never seen a Chevelle wit ha factor sun roof. There was a 69 El Camino that someone put a duel /split sun roof from a Subaru Brat. ! not factory but different, unique. Could have been a local dealer option but there's no RPO from the factory and nothing in the 70 Chevelle brochure information. I'd have to have the owner produce the original bill of sale.
