I too, would be interested in the best way to paint over chrome. I assume you would just need to rough it up with some 220 or so grit sandpaper, prime it and shoot nice thin coats of paint? I would like to paint my chrome valve covers (lettering part only), that says "MOROSO", with engine heat temp paint and leave the rest of the valve cover chrome. Thoughts?
