[Chevelle-List] Fell off my '64 Malibu convertible

2003-03-02 Thread K. Kaya
Title: Fell off my '64 Malibu convertible

I was rolling my Malibu out of the garage to test fire the engine and this part fell off of the underside of my chassis.

Can anyone identify the part? Its a tough one so only experienced Chevelle owner/enthusiasts should attempt to even bother looking at it.

Thanks,

Wow, Weird thing...
I found the exact same part under the seat of my
FZR last summer... I didn't know what it went to, so I just threw it
away... the bike seemed to run fine without it.

take it easy.

Be glad that part didn't fall off your car in Julythings might have gotten realy nasty.

You should look for a few more of these.if you find one, there are usually more.

Kurt,

Looks
like part of a catalytic converter. Are you sure it is off the Chevelle? Could
you have picked it up in traffic? If not, very rare chevelle
indeed!

Here
in Virginia, we call them wasp nests. Normally found on and under old trucks and
tractors, in pole barns and under [EMAIL PROTECTED], not under
Chevelles!

Rich
