The Tremec TKO is advertised to handle 525 ft lbs. The Tremec 3550 is advertised to handle 425 ft lbs. See http://www.fortesparts.com/tremec/tr3550-2.html The Richmond Street 5 speed is rated at 450 ft lb. Just last year it was 425 ft lb, FWIW. They don't give torque specs for their other transmissions, unless I overlooked them. See http://www.richmondgear.com/ My guess is that they both handle way more torque.
