Re: [Chevelle-List] Pro Street rolling stock for sale

2002-12-23 Thread Clint Hooper
I just ordered a pair of 17x13 Kidney Bean wheels w/knockoffs from PS
Engineering today for the rear of my car. Shopping around,I have found a
pair of Michelin Pilot 335/35/17's with only 250 miles,for $400/pair,and a
set of Goodyear GS-C 275/40/17's and 335/35/17's with around 10K miles,for
$250/set. The Michelins are my first preference but the GS-C's are priced
right the 275's are the size that was contemplated for the front. It's
been a long time since GY's have been on anything I've owned, though.
Herb, what tires are you running on your 66 Elky?

Hey Clint,

I have Bridgestone Potenza RE730s, 245/40ZR17 285/40ZR17, the wheels are
17x8 17x10. That's the biggest I could fit, my Elky doesn't have as much

Nice looking wheels, but i kinda want to stay away from the wheels with the
holes on them. Those wheels look like the old school centerline pro
stocks. I got a set of 15x7's in that sytle.

What are you asking for them? and does your price include tires too? What's
the condition of the wheels and tread life on the tires?

Thanks.and NICE ELKY!

All the wheels are in excellent shape or better. At least,I have not yet
noticed any flaws yet.
The centers are satin finish and the rims are polished. I'll send you a
photo of one of the rear wheels.
