I would think it has as much to do with the driver as it does the engine.

Ummm.. 14.2 @ 123??? Someone needs some tires, or a lesson on how to launch
a car. If you don't think 123 MPH is fast, you've not raced much. The
'94-up Supras came in turbo and normally aspirated form. The turbos are
very capable cars. I've driven a *lightly* modded '96/automatic, and ridden
in a '94 6-speed. The twin turbo 3.0 (inline-6) makes TONS of torque --
they are pretty much the opposite of your high-winding, no-torque Hondas
that typify the import scene. I have a pretty stong 406 in my '70 and I'd
be very cautious about taking one heads up. You must know the ways of the
enemy if you are to defeat them! :-)

[Chevelle-List] Supra, was show and tell

2002-07-01 Thread Robert Belz

You are right, it probably was a Supra, I did over hear someone say that it
was twin turboed stock and had been breathed on from there. Ask me about
Chevelles, I have way more resources on them than the ricers. (you guys
always beat me to the answers to most of the questions though :), Slow
fingers I guess :(
