When I bought the Chevelle, I sold my wife's convertiable
'94 Mustang. So when I brought home my last car (a deal I just could not
pass up! lol) all I got was "the look"..all I said "oh, did you
want one too?"

well i think knowing you that she didn't do to bad either.when we got married i had a 65. she loved that car. then the gas crunch hit and two of out three cars went bye bye.we let the 65 chevelle ss and 64 impala ss go; keeping the brand new POS 340 Duster.(boy did i make a mistake).
hey are you coming down for the swap ? let me know so we can hook up. also have you given it any thought about our club event in june ?also did you see the 65 convert parts on team chevelle for sale ? nice hearing from you.

I've got you by three years,in 1970 I was ready to order a new 70
  C
hevelle convert ,350-4spd,I still have all the
paper work and option prices, that the salesman gave me,so I could think it
over. Then I decided to get married instead. So we are still together, she lets
me play with my 64 convert, and I know that I would not have kept the 70 more
than a few years. It worked out for the better!

I find the best way to have no problems with toys
is to moonlight. I moonlight, wheel & deal and restore cars in the mornings
and then work my 3 to 11.

All my toys come out of the extra money, usually
cash.

BESIDES, the wife would get
the cars in the settlment and then you'd be left out in the cold with nothing ta
drive- so which car goes? HARD CHOICE!!!

Yep, took the words right outta my mouthbut seriously,
realizing that's probably the hardest thing to do, it looks like you have a

You can always get a new Wife, but a classic car is another story.

[Chevelle-List] Thoughts and advice on too many cars...

2002-03-25 Thread Ken's Email
Well the wife and I are going at it. I may have too many cars. I have the following:
- 1967 Chevelle SS (numbers matching) frame off
-1967 Chevelle Malibu with 283 (was gonna but in a 383 and 350 turbo trans)
- 1957 Chevy Belair (wife likes this one)
- 1986 CJ-7 with 4 cylinder anemic engine (great condition and only 56,000 miles)
I think I will sell the 67 Chevelle Malibu, and 86 CJ-7 Jeep.
Keep the 67 Chevelle SS and 57 Chevy Belair. Both are worth more.

Anyone interested in the 67 Chevelle Malibu let me know privately. I plan to post it on commercial
services in a couple of weeks.

What would u do ?
