The traditional CENTER pivot bowl and the SIDE pivot bowl. When you remove the fuel bowl - the float will either pivot in the center or on the end of the fuel bowl. Also, the fuel bowls are most likely NOT INTERCHANGABLY from front to back. Because the threads are not tapped on both sides of the fuel bowl. IT should be OK i think, i am in the process of building a surge tank, i think that's what they call it (any photos or plans for one of these would be great too) it is a tank which holds any where from 1- gallon to 1- quart of fuel (depending on space) . it mounts up by the radiator- your fuel pump feeds it, then a holley float bowl is mounted to it to shut off the fuel when the little tank gets full, a line comes out the bottom of this tank through a small elec. fuel pump back to the engine (or in my case the nitrous fuel feed) this little tank will never run out of fuel and the force from the acceleration will help instead of hurt, the guy who builds my engine told me about this set up, this way i don't have to run a bigger fuel line back to my tank redo my sender, i guess the pro stockers are all using these now. i had nitrous on my other car (S10 355 pick up) and when i energized the nitrous the fuel pressure would drop down to about 1 1/2 lbs of pressure ---BeginMessage--- Replies to this message are sent to The Chevelle Mailing List You may not be aware, but there are at least 2 different types of Holley fuel bowls.
