Dennis,
The valve should work fine (if it's a functional valve) The valve only
hooks up to the front bowl of the master cylinder. The back line bypasses
it. The line that goes through the prop valve attaches to the front of the
distribution block and feeds the front brakes and the larger line that
bypasses the prop valve from the back bowl of the master attaches at the
back hole of the dist. block and goes to the back breaks. Check your E-mail,
I sent you a pic.

Subject: [Chevelle-list] 1969 proportioning valve question.

Can some body please tell me which lines go where? I'm switching over to
front disc brakes on my 68 SS Chevelle. I bought a front disc brake
proportioning valve off of a 69 SS chevelle. There is a line coming out of
it in the front. And a line coming off of the bottom. Not sure where to
hook them up. Some valves I've seen have four lines coming out of them.
Will this one that I have with just two lines work OK? Thanks ahead of
 time for any help.Dennis
