That same day here in NorCal we will have our 19th Annual Old Car Picnic. It's Sunday, October 14th sunrise to sunset in Golden Gate Park at Speedway Meadow, and the best car show and family event in San Francisco or anywhere even close. It's a $20 donation to park on the green and you will see vintage cars, rods, bikes, low riders, antiques, just about anything with wheels. The charity is SF Recreation and Parks program for the Developmentally Disabled, and there should be over 800 vehicles for you to check out while you picnic and spend the day (hopefully) in the sun. We have an annual ³old car picnic² in San Francisco the same day. It¹s in Golden Gate Park at Speedway Meadow dawn to dusk. If you are not familiar with it, don¹t worry, we will have signs posted around the park. Best entry is from Fulton Ave and 30th. Bring whatever vehicle you want and park on the lawn and bring a picnic lunch or barbeque there. It¹s a charity event so it costs $20 per car, but it is the biggest and best show/party in NorCal.
