lol,,
Take the bottom out again. Look at the latches on the floor. Make
sure they are not bent and don't have debris in the way. Put the seat
back...hold up slightly on the front and push back...get the frame in
the slot as you lower the front..

from time to time mine has been a pain...now it is loose as a goose.

If it is the same as the 70 you line up the wire part that
goes into the hold down clip. It goes straight back then down and while you
pushing down you pull it towards the front of the car. I hope this
helps.

2006-04-17 Thread Michael Pell

Maybe you should remove all the leftover garments that had been stuffed
behind.  :-)

Reminds me of a joke I played on a buddy in high school.  I picked up
some queen size panty hose and hid them in his glove box and in the
back seat.  He was mortified when he found them, and was worried about
his Dad seeing them!!

Those backseats can certainly be a pain.    Look under, and you'll see
where there's a part of the framing that goes into a 'hook' mounted on
the floor.
Push the seat down and back until you clear the rear edge of the 'hook'
mounted on the floor.
You might also want to ensure there's no obstruction that prevents the
seat from going as far rearward as possible.  It doesn't take much to
mess it up and keep it from going in place.

Good luck,
Mike
