Hey Larry, You can build yourself a really nice BBC. As far as crate engines go, they are alot of options I'm sure you realize. I don't have any experience with them, so I can't say much. However, I've done a bit of research also, and I'd LOVE to do the ZZ502/502 crate from Chevy. It's EFI, and all the computer and everything are hidden under its tunnel ram. Basically you plop the engine in there, and for the EFI end of it, you connect a ground, a power wire, and a fuel feed/return and that's it. No figuring stuff out. I've heard from word of mouth these are great set ups.
