I haven't used it on my chevelle but I did use it on my '86 Corvette prior
to me selling it - My vette was a deep wine color and the clay bar brought
out the richness of the paint - Secret only do a small area at a time back
and forth, not in a circular motion; keep the surface of the car wet and
constantly fold the bar into itself similar to using bread dough - Most
important - if you accidently drop it on the ground DO NOT REUSE IT
You'll end up damaging your paint - Also once you use it on your wheels DO
NOT REUSE IT ON THE BODY OF THE CAR!!! The clar bar will pick up any brake
dust
