Re: [Chevelle-list] Factory aluminum intake
I really don't know what it is worth. There are 2 listed on ebay in the same condition as mine, and I am watching the prices to get an idea. One had a few bids at 175.00 with 3 days left. The other had a starting price of 425.00 with no bids. I will sell it, I just need to see what a fair price is. Thanks, Bob. For the right price, you could have one in your garage. I will never have a '69 Camaro to put it on. As much as I love a Camaro, I am already married to Chevelles! Re: [Chevelle-list] Factory aluminum intake
No, I have not checked the stroke, good point. The intake did not come from the block I have. The casting date, I am told, is under the oil shield on the bottom of the intake and I have not taken that off (riveted) for fear of hurting value. Just out of curiosity, have you verified that your 327 is really that and not a 302? They have the same 4" bore but the strokes are 3" and 3.25". Brad _ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger! [Chevelle-list] Factory aluminum intake
Hi guys. I have an intake in my garage that I do not know the origin of. If someone has a casting # book, I would really appreciate any help. It is a dual plane high-rise aluminum intake for a smallblock with 3932472 GM cast into it. There is the slightest chance that the 9 is an 8, but I am pretty sure it is a 9. As always, thanks for all of your help! Brian P.S.Sorry about the OPG reference. I have only ordered from them once, but did not have a problem. It was some body bolts, probably something that is always in stock I guess. Thanks again _ Dont just search. Find.
