[Chevelle-list] Hot Rod Power Tour question

Is there some reason I should go thru the travel agency to book motel reservations.  I don't like the fact that you cannot cancel or get a refund.

I don't have the finances to Long Haul the event so
I'll probably run about half the way to either Springfield or St.Louis. Just had
a four wheel alignment done on my El Camino and it made a huge difference. We
had to re-adjust the four link to get the Fab 9 square again and he aligned the
front end to my specs. Yesterday,I installed new SoftSeal door weatherstripping
on both doors and now the car's relatively tight.  After that,I adjusted
the coilovers on both ends to get the ride height where I wanted it,,,low. Just
need to re-install the leather bed cover, clean the car up a little, load some
tools & clothes, and I'll be ready to rock n roll.

Clint, that is same thing I did last year when it
came through here. I, along with a couple of people in my car club, drove up
to Jackson MS to meet it there. Then we drove down with them the
next day to New Orleans. It was a kick. Herb and Mike are supposed to make a
showing at CB'04 on their way to the Power Tour. Maybe next
year.
Clint, a friend of mine asked me to look for a
right spindle for him for a '72 Cutlass. Will a spindle for a Chevelle work?
After all they are both "A" bodies.

      [Chevelle-list] Hot Rod power tour
Hello everyone, I was wondering who was going
to the power tour? I will be going on the last two days, without my
chevelle, ( no where near drive able) but I have wanted to go since the
first one. I found out the same weekend that it finishes in Green Bay, the
city is having a jahova witness get together. most of the hotels in a five
mile radius were full already. Anyway, if anyone is going, I would like to
meet anyone from the list, and put faces to names.
