A *STEEL* cowl induction hood (not a weld-on scoop) for a '64 or '65 Cevelle that will provide clearance for a 14 air cleaner and a high rise manifold. Chrome side trim for a '65 malibu. None listed in any catalog I've ever seen. Struck out with John Nasta too. A decent radio w/ cd player that fits the cutout ina stock '65 dash bezel. That will do for starters. -- Bob Holtzman A man is a man who will fight with a sword, Or tackle Mount Everest in snow; But the bravest of all owns a '34 Ford, Who will try for six thousand in low! bucket seat frames; was Re: [Chevelle-list] Information wanted
Larry, I have most of a pair of rough frames. You can have them if you'll pick them up, south side of Indy. They are rough, but I think restoreable. I picked them up for that reason, then ended up buying a completed set. Mike, Larry Butler wrote: I've been looking for 68-72 bucket seat frames. Yeah they figured out they had something good going and decided to keep going. Why they ever stopped is beyond me. I hear folks moan and groan about them stopping the Camaro / Firebird line. Well, Gee what about us? Larry (Z)

Title: Message Agree on the '68 stuff. They've been left out far too long. I don't have one but it seems like they are like the '67s were a few years ago...almost nothing available. Guys can't build 'em if they can't get g-o-o-d repro parts. If you build it, they will come. RE: [Chevelle-list] Information wanted
A digital tach that looks similar to, or functions similar to, an analog tach. Tubular upper A arms (tall spindle upgrade) that are REASONABLY priced. Same with lowers. Metal hood scoops ( may have them out there..I haven't looked too hard yet ) More cold air induction options Chromed metal grill options to replace plastic ones. A serpentine pulley system that includes air conditioning and doesn't turn the water pump backwards...for a big block. Custom valve cover lettering design Custom interior options. Such as..you pick the material and design from several and they build it to fit. Custom consoles. I am sure I can think of more ...but that's enough for now. Re: [Chevelle-list] Information wanted
Baer is coming out with a tall spindle of their own design later this year that will keep the pros of the upgrade and eliminate the cons. The other custom stuff you want can probably be done by a talented builder near you. What city and state do you live?
