You really don't need to put a lead additive in the gas because the heads have
the original valve seats. The seats themselves will harden over time just from
being an in service car. I just run plain old unleaded 87 Octane in my 69 with
the original engine in it.

I'm sure most of you don't need it. But for those of you who do, where are
you getting it from? Is there a place we can order a case or something? I have
a 66 396 that was rebuilt, but the builder left the heads alone and said that
the seats were in good so to remove them would cause more problems. So until I
can get the heads done again, I need to add lead additive to my fuel and need
to get some.
