RE: [Chevelle-list] Looking for a 4 Bolt main Big Block Chevy Motor
Adds a whole new meaning to "butcher block". Sorry Larry. -Original Message- It was a 1969 396 (265 HP passenger ) 2 bolt main shortblock bored 30 over, tanked, has a crank but he doesn't know if it needs turned and the rods have been resized.

There was one for sale just the other day on the list, maybe someone will remember who had it. I'll try and locate the info too. I think it was a 396. Do not know if it was a 4 bolt or not.
Re: [Chevelle-list] Looking for a 4 Bolt main Big Block Chevy Motor
Just found out it was a 2 bolt, Larry knew about it I think he is z16chevelle guy , but not sure now. Keep looking for something from him, you might get his address .
RE: [Chevelle-list] Looking for a 4 Bolt main Big Block Chevy Motor
I believe it was either 'super Chevy's or 'Chevy High performance' that had a buyers guide for crate motors a month or two back. There were some nice motors for less than that I believe. I'll try and find the article for you when I get home.
