There is a right angle bracket that attaches from the back of the radio to the 
steel frame that runs along the bottom of the dash. That and the nuts on the 
knob posts should do it... (if memory serves me correctly)Godspeed, Dan

Does anyone have a drawing/diagram that show the correct way to install a 
factory radio correctly in a '70 SS?? My car came with a Pioneer casette player 
and I want to restore the car correctly. I just want to make sure that the 
radio is installed (supported) correctly. Thanks for any help

Rich,
  I would buy the assembly manual for your car. Most restoration places sell 
them (Ground Up, Year One, ect) You will find yourself referencing it all the 
time.
