Re: [Chevelle-List] Muncie result
Make me an offer. I had a look inside tonight. I was pleasantly supprizzed. It was extremely clean. It will need a bearing kit though. The front bearings are rather rusty as it was undercover outside for many years. I notice complete bearing kits are only about 75 bucks on ebay. After looking inside I am bummin that it wasn't a M22 . Ill hopefully get a few picks this weekend and I can email them to you. If you are no longer interested let me know and I may put it on ebay. Hi JD. I am in the market for an M20 or M21. Any idea of the condition of this one and what the price might be? RE: [Chevelle-List] Muncie result
Yeah, but any Muncie 4 speed is pretty rugged. A friend of mine with a drag car once pointed out to me that I do a hole shot about maybe once every couple weeks at the most and I almost never slam shift the thing. He correctly pointed out that I like to THINK I'm something of a hotrodder, but the reality is I can't afford to pick up a four point ticket. And, frankly, I've grown much much more careful in any area that even LOOKS like there might be kids lurking somewhere. Therefore, in the rare cases where I do let the thing out a bit, it's always an expressway or some other relatively remote location. I suppose even an early model Muncie will endure my lightweight use for YEARS without trouble. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of JDHall Sent: Wednesday, July 31, 2002 9:37 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [Chevelle-List] Muncie result What I figured. Re: [Chevelle-List] Muncie result
Unfortunately the '63-65 Muncies are not as durable or suited for hi-po use as the '66-74 models, so I'm guessing someone interested in yours would be so for restoration purposes.
