There are also many people on the Olds G-body list with 100-150+K trannys that are still hanging in there. If you do regular maintenance and don't abuse the car, there's no reason why you can't get 150+K with a 200-4R with a stock 307 engine. It's true the TH350 is stronger in stock form than a 200-4R; but the 2.74 first gear and 0.67 O/D of the 200-4R are features that might make it a better choice than the TH350, at least in some applications (i.e. street/highway driving). My $.02, FWIW. We have been through this many times. Go with the TH350. The 200 4R is a POS. I blew one to pieces with a stock 307 Olds w/140 HP. - To Unsubscribe please visit www.chevelles.net/list.html To start a new topic, send mail to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

It will handle any mildly built small block you can throw at it. I put a TH350 in my 86 Cutlass and never had a problem with it with the 307 or the 350 horse 350 I dumped in it. I blew one out (2004R) with the first shift on a short street with a Vortec 350...trashed it goodget a TH-350 The Hannas 2 Elks Ranch - To Unsubscribe please visit www.chevelles.net/list.html To start a new topic, send mail to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
