M&H is at wiringharness.com. We don't carry them yet but I'm sure that
eventually we will. I have already talked with them about it.

All ya have to do is take off the stock regulator and jump the wires in the
plug. Number 1 goes to number 3, and number 2 goes to number 4. You also
have to change the plug that goes into the altenator. Pretty basic stuff.

I got new engine and forward lamp harnesses from M&H and got them wired for
internal reg and HEI. Hopefully I'll get to put them on the car some day.
Ron says it's too cold in his shop to spray paint, and that's the holdup
right now.

 Hi Kurt.
I have never used the conversion internal reg harness . BUT ASSUME it's a
viable solution .

As for the HEI conversion. The difference in your Eng. harness and firwall
bulkhead is.
bulk head the wired is a 20ga. and the eng. harness is a 20 ga wire with a
length or resitance wire to drop the Voltage at the
distributor to 7 to 8 volts. The HEI likes a FULL 13.8 volt from the main
block. Most guys seem to run a 12ga or 14ga wire from the HEI to the main
juntion block and then to a switched 12v source .. You can get creative and
call MH and get the flea clips and wire it right in to the old OR/PPL 20 ga
circuit in your eng harness. A added pluss is now only need one wire to
the starter ..
