I know Jim Brown personally. He's the President of the Central Ohio
Chevelle Owners Club. The club web site is at: www.ohiochevelle.com

While Jim's e-mail address is listed there, I know from experience he
doesn't get on the computer much, so it's best to call him.

Jim owns a few acres with a bunch of Chevelles on it. I have personally
bought several parts from him and at fair/reasonable prices. He's a
straight shooter.

Jim's a good resource if you want some old Chevelle parts off his parts
cars. He also shows up at most of the local Ohio swap meets and a few
others as well such as the swap meet section at Chevellabration.

740--893-4596, I don't know him personally, I just bought some bumper guards he

Actually you guys have the Tri-State Chevelle club here in the
Cinci-Dayton areas. The club has a web site and has people with all
sorts of parts and skills available. Post something in the FORUM area
for responses.

Check out the web site at: www.chevelles.net/tristate

Im in mason, ohio 45040. I just got a shop to check it out and they
estimated 400 to 500 bucks. Im almost positive I can find a frame or parts
car cheaper than that with a perfect frame that just needs to be cleaned
up.

Where are you at? I'm just outside of Lex. KY, and have welded dozens of
frames over the years. I have a structural fab shop, but work on
cars/trucks/bikes on the side for enjoyment.

Hey guys,
Recently ive taken the body off my 69 chevelle and found a
crack
in the front right rail on the bend upward toward the front suspension.
Ive
been looking for a few frame shopes but am wondering if its alright to fix
or would it be safer to find a new frame? Thanks again -Ron Winkler

That's actually a common place for these frames to crack.  Find a good stick welder and weld it back together.  I've welded frames before with success.
