RE: [Chevelle-list] Procar Seats
Title: Message The models have changed since I bought mine. I have what looks very much like the Elite 2000. I have black Vinyl and grey Velour inserts, but the recline mechanism looks different, so the seat could be different. I like them and have been comfortable on long trips with them. My buddy had what looked like the Rally 2000 seats in his Camaro, and they were also great. I did not buy these because the large steering wheel in the Chevelle would have made it tough to get in and out with the tall seat bolster. His Camaro had a smaller steering wheel which was fine. Their race style seats are all brand new. They are nearby, soit was easy to stop by and test fit the adapters (they did not have them for my year back then) to buy the closest fit. Do they list adapters on the site? Here is the web site : procarbyscat.com My car originally had a bench seat so I had to drill four holes. The brackets they sell with the seats are custom made for each car and fit mine purfect. They have several different seats to choose from and are priced very reasonable. I am very pleased with them and suggest them to anyone looking for seats. Hope this helps and good luck in your search. Damon Snyder

I purchased a set of the Procar Rally 2000 seat. I like the way they feel. Mike Fry Valley View, Texas --- Brad Waller [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: I have a set in my Chevelle. But this was a daily driven car that was parked outside for about half of the time the seats were in the car. My buddy had a set of the deep buckets on his Camaro. They were pretty good as well and really held you into the seat. You really need a smaller steering wheel if you want these, as the side bolter comes up very high.
